The paper analyzes the influence of atmospheric circulation on cloudiness and cloud types during July August 2016 in Petuniabukta Svalbard-Lufthavn. For meteorological parameters, basic statistical measures were calculated average diurnal patterns analyzed. Taking data from reanalysis (NCEP/NCAR-The National Centers for Atmospheric Prediction/The Center Research) regarding mean sea-level pressure (SLP), 500 hPa geopotential height, air temperature at 850 (T850), composite maps synoptic situation studied area constructed. observed clouds, frequency their occurrence particular was then determined according to Niedźwiedź classification. Differences amount examined measuring points ascertained. is associated with both direction mass advection type circulation. results may also indicate possibility specific, local environmental features cloudiness.
